Aussies have owned us since 1989. Our first Aussie
was Gus. A wonderful red male. He was taken from us after only 7 short years. We will always wonder where he went and to this
day he is still missed dearly. That is one of the reasons we strongly suggest micro chipping. Arie came to live with us at
the age of 6 months. She is an awesome black tri female. Amber was born on this place two years ago and AJ was just purchased
in 2005 at the age of 7 weeks, Holly and Hank was born here Feb. 2005, our newest member of the family is C.C.she was also
born here she was born Aug. 7, 2005.
My husband (of 15 years) and I live on a 5 acre farm
about 30 miles from Columbia, Mo. with 6 Aussies, 1 Begel (my sons hunting dog) and 1 stray dogs that love
our home and won’t find another , 1 American Quarter Horse , 7 barns cats and 2 very busy teenagers.
All of our Aussies are our pets/ family members.
They come inside and some go on vacations with us. Now that there are 6 Aussies the vacations may get few and far between.
I try to potty train them when they are young so they have the option of coming inside if they want and we can travel
with them and not have to worry about accidents.
I am also a contributing editor for the Australian
Shepherd Club here in Mo.
