Skye and her toy
skye2.jpg

Hey Marla,

Skye is doing great! Everybody just loves her. Skye is such a wonderful pup! She has a wonderful personality and is the most intelligent dog I have ever had. She has yet to have an accident and she is all most 11 weeks old! She is awsome. She is very playful and active. She never got sick or had any problem driving back home to Colorado. She loves playing with her greyhound friends and has not one ounce of shyness or any kind of fear in her. She is just the best pup anyone could ever have and I was lucky enough to get her from such a wonderful breeder. Marla you are a very kind person who is much fun to be around. You raised Skye and her siblings very well."

Her registered name is Arie's Splash of Skye and I call her Skye.

Thank You,

C. Swetnam

Apache and Ruby (L-R)

Hey Marla, How are you enjoying a little less work? Quincy is doing great. He knows now that he has to go outside to go potty, so he goes to the door, and paws at it. We went to town tonite, so I put him in his crate. When we got home he opened to crate door himself and came to greet us. I hope that was just an accident, and he didn't realize what he did. He now barks right along with everyone else when someone comes, and runs to the door to greet them. He seems to be very smart, but I could be prejudiced!! The last time he went to the vet he weighed 25#.

He really enjoys his food!!! He loves our little walks around the area, and hates it when I am outside the fence, and he is inside. In general he is doing just great, and I am so glad I took him instead of a different one!

Congratulations on your upcoming litter. I hope they all turn out as good as the ones we got from the last litter. Quincy is doing great. He's so loveable, he always has time to stop for pets, even when he's playing. We took him and the others to the lake to go swimming. He really enjoyed it. He didn't quite know what to do at first, but it didn't take him long before he was swimming around. He seems like he is going to be a lot like my Apache. More of a people oriented dog. He loves everbody!!

Apache is His great uncle on Arie's side, and uncle on Andy's side. Ruby is his aunt on Arie's side, and also Apache's neice.

Jas & her toy
jas.jpg

Hello, how are you? We are all doing good. Been busy with ballgames.
Jasmin loves to go to the parks for the games. I take some of her toys
with her and the kids love to play with her and pet her. I have
attached a couple of new pics. She loves to lay in the kitchen on the
floor for her naps. She has a duck toy that she loves to play with so
we bought one for her kennel too, so she sleeps with the blue one and
plays with the green one. She loves to chew so we bought some pressed
rawhide bones from the local pet supply store and she loves those. She
likes to spend a lot of time outdoors socializing with the female collie
next door or laying in the grass taking a nap. She has gotten feeding
times down and will sit in the pantry by her food bin until we feed
her! She is a joy and has fit in perfectly, we couldn't have asked for
a better pup.

Will try to write again soon. Take care.

I spoke with the Vanlandingham family on 4/27/05 (no e-mail) They said Tes (aka #4) was doing wonderful they have had her for 6 days now and she is almost potty trained and is already won everyone over. They are very happy with their choice. They said she is so smart and has already learned two new commands. They will keep me posted.

My dad said "Sandy" is fitting in great. She likes to tease the cats and the other dog. She goes out and "helps" my dad build fence. He also said she is great with my younger brothers.

She is a very happy puppy. We have 16 kittens that she likes to pester! Her bestfriend is our older aussie. They play all the time together.
